These photos were taken at the 2007 Samgaksan International Mountain Culture Festival. The Festival was held on the weekend of June 23 and 24 at the Hotel Green Park in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, in the shadow of the imposing crags of Yongbong. The KML were VIP guests at the event and took the opportunity to discuss environmental issues facing Korea's mountains with government officials, including Gangbuk-gu mayor, Kim Hyun Poong.

The opinions expressed by the KML were positively received and overall it was a successful (though somewhat culturally lacking in the international sense) festival.
